Welcome! It is with great excitement that I welcome you to the Northeastern Catholic District School Board and the New Teacher Induction Program. Your participation in this unique mentorship program will allow you the opportunity to develop your capacity as a teacher and to become better acquainted with the NCDSB and our system goals for excellence. We believe that our New Teacher Induction Program offers our newly appointed teachers with the opportunity to develop the skills and competencies required to become a successful Catholic educator. We strive to provide various learning experiences for you, and remain grateful to our dedicated mentors who offer our new teachers guidance and support during their beginning years in Catholic education. Together, you will explore the different elements required for success in the classroom and beyond, and help each other discover new and exciting ways to enhance student achievement and instructional practice.
