Kindergarten

Welcome to Kindergarten!

This is an exciting time as your child embarks on their educational journey with our Catholic school board. Our two-year, full-day Kindergarten program, designed for four and five-year-olds, provides a nurturing and engaging environment where children learn and grow through play-based and inquiry-based experiences.

Guided by a dedicated team of a certified teacher and a registered Early Childhood Educator (ECE), your child will develop essential skills in literacy, mathematics, self-regulation, and problem-solving. We build a strong foundation for future learning, fostering social-emotional development and nurturing their natural curiosity in a safe and supportive setting.

Our program is aligned with the Ontario Ministry of Education’s Kindergarten Program, emphasizing learning through relationships, exploration, and discovery. Most importantly, we infuse our Catholic faith into every aspect of the learning experience, helping children grow in knowledge, love, and service to others. We’re committed to ensuring every child reaches their full potential, both academically and spiritually.

Registering for Kindergarten

Ready to register your child? The online registration process for Kindergarten opens in February each year. We encourage parents to register early to secure a spot in their preferred school and program. To finalize your child’s registration, you will be invited to meet with the school principal and tour the school.

Please review the Welcome to Kindergarten guide for more details about registration and programming. We look forward to welcoming your child into our Catholic school community!
